Ant Extermination in York and Durham Region
Ants in the kitchen or inside the walls? Clarkson Pest Control gets rid of ants in York Region and Durham Region. We work out which ant it is, then we find the nest.
Signs of a problem
Trails of ants across counters, floors, or walls. Fine, sawdust-like piles near wood can point to carpenter ants. Big black ants indoors in spring are another sign. A faint rustling in the wall is a third. Ants also gather near sweet or greasy food.
How we do the job
We start by identifying the ant type. Then we follow the trail to the nest and the entry points. We treat both. A follow-up check confirms that the ants are gone.
In your area
Ontario has many kinds of ants. Pavement ants and odorous house ants are common nuisance ants. Carpenter ants are different. They nest in wet or damaged wood and can weaken a structure over time. The right treatment depends on the type. Rouge National Urban Park covers a large green area on the east side of the Greater Toronto Area, including parts of Markham and Pickering. Carpenter ants nest in dead trees and stumps, and they can move into houses near wooded areas.
