Squirrel Removal in York and Durham Region

Scratching in the attic in the middle of the day? That is often a squirrel. Clarkson Pest Control live-traps and relocates squirrels in York Region and Durham Region.

Signs of a problem

Running or scratching sounds overhead during daylight. Chewed wood, wires, or vent covers. Leaves and twigs packed into the attic or chimney. A hole at the soffit or roof edge. Droppings on the attic floor.

How we do the job

We look over the roof edge and the attic to find the way in. We check for a nest with young squirrels. Next, we live-trap the adults and relocate them. Then we fix the hole so no new squirrels move in.

In your area

In Ontario, squirrels can have young in late winter and again in summer. They chew through soffits and roof edges to reach the attic. Chewed wires can start a fire, so do not wait. The Oak Ridges Moraine, a long ridge of forest and farmland, runs across the north of York Region and Durham Region. Squirrels use tree branches as a bridge to the roof. Trim any branch that touches the house.
